Manchester United fans compares Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side to Liverpool

Manchester United v Liverpool FC - Premier League

Despite their recent blip of form, this Liverpool side are one of the greatest the Premier League has ever seen.

Twenty-seven wins from their 29 matches so far have seen them establish a 25-point lead at the top of the table.

They need just two more wins to guarantee the title and are set to smash Manchester City’s 100 point record.

But the question everyone *literally no-one* is asking is: 'Are they better than this current Manchester United side?'

Considering the fact they sit 37 points clear of Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s side, the answer is: Yes, much better.

However, try telling that to United fan account ‘Red Devil Bible’.

That’s because their tweet on Wednesday morning went viral - and caused outrage.

He attempted to compare United’s current XI to Liverpool’s current XI and believes that only Mohamed Salah is better than his opposite number.

Check out the controversial tweet below:

Surely they’re not being serious, are they?

Let's tackle the tweet one step at a time...

- David de Gea better than Alisson? Errr no.
- Aaron Wan-Bissaka better than Trent Alexander-Arnold? Again, no.
- Harry Maguire on the same level as Virgil van Dijk? Pffft.
- Eric Bailly better than Joe Gomez? Not quite as ridiculous as many of the shouts but still incorrect.
- Luke Shaw equal to Andy Robertson? Behave.
- Paul Pogba better than Jordan Henderson? In many aspects, yes. But Pogba has hardly played this season and Henderson is vital to Liverpool.
- Fred better than Fabinho? To be fair, Fred has been decent recently and Fabinho has been poor. But we disagree overall.
- Bruno Fernandes better than Georginio Wijnaldum? Very different players but yeah, we don’t disagree on that one.
- Anthony Martial better than Roberto Firmino? Again, very different players but Firmino is crucial to this Liverpool side so we can’t support that view.
- Marcus Rashford similar to Sadio Mane? Just no.
- Mohamed Salah better than Daniel James? Obviously.

Do they really think that better management would see the Red Devils challenging for a league title next season?

Deary me.
