This Friday night on SmackDown, retired superstar Paige will be returning to the blue brand to go face-to-face with Women's Champion Bayley.

She may be announcing the champ's WrestleMania 36 match, which is rumoured to be a Six-Pack Challenge match, with four of her five opponents being Carmella, Naomi, Lacey Evans and Sasha Banks.

And that sixth woman could end up being Nia Jax.

A relative of The Rock, Jax moved to the main roster from NXT in 2016, and set about making herself the most dominant force on Monday Night Raw - using her size to her advantage inside the squared circle

She finally won the big prize - the Raw Women's Championship - in 2018 at WrestleMania from her nemesis Alexa Bliss, but her appearance at Mania in 2019 would be the last time we would see Jax for quite a while.

It was revealed that Nia had suffered anterior cruciate ligament tears to BOTH of her knees, and that she would be out of action for at least nine months.

11 months have now passed - but the good news is that Nia has reportedly been cleared to return to in-ring action, according to Mike Johnson of PW Insider.

Considering how close WrestleMania is now, there's every chance that Jax could be saved for one of the post-Mania shows for her big return.

But with an apparent title match with six women happening at the event, there could be a spot for Nia to slot right back into the action on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

It's interesting to note though that Jax keeps denying all reports of her return, as she called out a reporter yesterday and also hinted at 'going back to modelling'.

It's very doubtful that the reports this time are wrong though, so you can fully expect to see Nia back on our screens in the coming weeks.
