PSG may have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2016, but they did so with little class.
Unfortunately, it will be scant consolation to Borussia Dortmund that their conquerors have been criticised for their behaviour in mocking striker Erling Haaland.
Neymar opened the scoring and replicated Haaland's 'zen' celebration, despite there being nobody in the stadium to see it as the game was played behind closed doors.
The entire PSG team then made the same gesture on the pitch at full-time, as well as copying the Norwegian's trademark move in the dressing room afterwards.
It seemed a needless dig at the 19-year-old, who has won the hearts of most football fans across Europe and, perhaps conspicuously, has even been compared to Kylian Mbappe.
Indeed, Thomas Tuchel's side witnessed first hand what he's capable of in the first leg when he scored a brace.
What really seemed to have irked PSG was an apparent Snapchat post from the former RB Salzburg prodigy, its caption reading "My city, not yours" next to the word "PARIS".
It went viral before the second leg and was undoubtedly seen by Neymar and co. as the Brazilian captioned his own Instagram post: "Our city, not yours."
Neymar might have found himself amusing, but he has incurred the wrath of Dortmund, who also accused him of 'acting' to get Emre Can sent off late on.
As for Haaland though, the PSG players might have felt they just couldn't ignore what he'd written on his photo.
Justified? Well, there's just one problem. Erling Haaland does not have Snapchat.
That means PSG's overzealous teasing, which was ridiculous enough in itself given that they could have chosen not to rise to the teenager's 'bait', was all for nothing.
It's a shame Haaland couldn't get them back on the pitch, as he was surprisingly anonymous in the second leg and failed to record a shot on target.
At least he's the moral winner...
Have no doubt either, that this was no more than an off night for a generational talent.
