The coronavirus epidemic is showing no signs of stopping and UEFA are taking action.
They released a statement on Thursday inviting various people to partake in a video call to discuss UEFA's cup competitions.
Their statement read: "In the light of the ongoing developments in the spread of COVID-19 across Europe and the changing analysis of the World Health Organisation, UEFA has today invited representatives of its 55 member associations, together with the boards of the European Club Association and the European Leagues and a representative of FIFPro, to attend meetings by video conference on Tuesday 17 March to discuss European football’s response to the outbreak.
"Discussions will include all domestic and European competitions, including UEFA EURO 2020.
"Further communication will be made following those meetings."
And, according to L'Equipe, the Champions League and the Europa League will be suspended when they meet on Tuesday next week.
Manchester United, Rangers and Wolves are among the teams playing in the Europa League tonight and those games are expected to go ahead.
Euro 2020 is also expected to be pushed back a year. This is to give the two club competitions the time to finish in the summer.
The news comes after several leagues were suspended.
Serie A became the first European league to be postponed when they announced the news on Monday. They are due to resume play next month but, given how the coronavirus is spreading, that seems unlikely.
La Liga and the Eredivisie have since followed as they both confirmed today their leagues have been suspended for at least the next two weeks.
The Premier League has not announced it's postponement yet, but there have been reports that all games will be played behind closed doors.
On Wednesday, Juventus' Daniele Rugani became the first high-profile player to announce that he had contracted the illness.
Sampdoria's Manolo Gabbiadini has also contracted the virus, while Brendan Rodgers confirmed on Thursday that three Leicester players had been kept in isolation after showing symptoms.
