Manchester will go ahead with their normal training plan despite the coronavirus pandemic that has caused the league season to be suspended.
All four tiers of the English Football League have been postponed until early April amid the outbreak which has seen Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi among those to test positive for coronavirus.
However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men plan to adhere to their regular daily training sessions as a squad during the stoppage in the season.
This is a vastly different approach to other clubs such as Chelsea who have informed their players to stay away from the training pitch, with the whole complex receiving a deep clean in an attempt to avoid any further virus scares.
Other teams have given their players dietary and training plans to stick to at their homes during the break.
Whether United will host friendlies over the next three weeks behind closed doors has yet to be confirmed, but just by training normally you would expect they will be fitter and better drilled than most of their opponents, should the season recommence.
Solskjaer gave a message to the fans amid the coronavirus uncertainty.
"I would like to thank our fans for their tremendous support so far this season and we look forward to welcoming them back to Old Trafford as soon as is safely possible," the United boss said, per The Mirror.
The Red Devils have been in good form of late, going five league games unbeaten including 2-0 wins against Chelsea and Manchester City to put them fifth in the table before the suspension.
Solskjaer's side have also been performing well on the European stage, defeating LASK 5-0 in Austria during their first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 tie.
That result adds to their progression in the FA Cup after overcoming Wayne Rooney's Derby County 3-0 to set up a quarter-final with Norwich.
The Premier League has been suspended until April 4 but that is likely to be extended as coronavirus fears escalate.
