Jorge Masvidal has some choice words for fellow competitor Kevin Lee stating that he should be cut following “b**** move” at UFC Brasilia.
Lee chalked up a loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC’s Brasilia event and Masvidal was not impressed with the way Lee handled himself in the aftermath.
Masvidal took to social media to express his disgust at Lee and slammed ‘The MoTown Phenom’ for trying to continue to fight after clearly tapping out to ‘Da Bronx’.
Masvidal was not impressed one iota and hit out at Lee on Twitter stating:
“You should be cut for this bitch move. Tap and try to continue? One of the lowest things you can do hoe a** b****!”
Lee has sustained a rough patch in his career as of late having lost his third in his previous four Octagon appearances – his soul win in this stretch came by way of knockout in the first round against Gregor Gillespie.
To add salt to an open wound, Lee who holds an 18-6 MMA record had embarrassingly missed weight for UFC’s Brasilia headline event by 2.5lbs, unearthing doubts about his future as a lightweight.
Jorge now awaits his next challenge after putting to bed his past three opponents via impressive stoppage wins, most notably Nate Diaz some months back.
Rumours have been doing the rounds with potential suitors for Masvidal’s next bout in the Octagon; it is believed that Masvidal is a shoo-in to face Karmaru Usman to challenge for the UFC welterweight championship.
Masvidal is the current and first holder on the promotion ‘BMF’ title belt with many fans wanting to see him take on UFC kingpin Conor McGregor to determine the true ‘BMF’; however, this may indeed be wishful thinking.
We aren’t entirely sure what the future holds for either Lee or Masvidal but watch this space, anything can happen in the UFC that’s a fact.
