Awarding individual accolades is going to be very difficult this season.
With the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign thrown into chaos by the coronavirus outbreak, it's unclear at present whether fixtures will even be completed.
That means awards like the Golden Shoe would either have to be cancelled altogether, or be judged on their current standings.
That could be good news for Ciro Immobile, the Lazio forward already being number one in the rankings.
Bleacher Report have provided the up-to-date table, which is of course not based on goals alone, but on points awarded for the difficulty of the different leagues.
As a reminder, for the uninitiated, each league has been given a rating between one and two, which is then multiplied by the player's goals.
So, Erling Haaland's goals in the Bundesliga count for two points, whereas his RB Salzburg goals are only worth 1.5.

Immobile would be a deserving winner.
The Italian has led the way for much of the Serie A season and, if Lazio are denied the chance to finish competing for the Scudetto, at least he would get some individual recognition for his efforts.
Elsewhere, we have Haaland in joint-third. His efforts shouldn't be diminished just because he shot to fame in Austria, as he's shown in the Champions League, and in the Bundesliga since January, that he can do it at the highest level.
Then there is the eternal question. Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? Well, neither in this instance, but both are present.
The Argentine is officially in the midst of his worst season at Barcelona, in terms of goalscoring, in a decade but he has still scored more than the likes of Kylian Mbappe, the supposed heir to his crown.
Let's take a moment to appreciate Jamie Vardy for matching the achievements of the six-time Ballon d'Or winner, too. It's been a fantastic campaign for the Leicester striker.
Any awards that are given at the end of this season are going to be bittersweet if the games aren't finished.
