The first official gameplay footage for new MotoGP 20 game has dropped and it looks stunning

Like so many other global sporting events, the upcoming Moto GP season has been delayed due to the spread of the coronavirus.

The virus has wreaked havoc on a plethora of sporting calendars, and, with no end in sight, it is difficult to see how many of them could possibly be completed.

However, some good news has come to light for two-wheeled fans with brand new game-play footage emerging of the upcoming Moto GP 20 game.

Fortunately, while the sport itself has been halted, development of the new game continues apace.

The footage, which was voted for by fans, shows superstar Valentino Rossi belting around a stunning looking Mugello Circuit in the blazing sunshine.

Game makers have promised a far more immersive experience in the upcoming title by making bike handling more realistic and offering a 'deeper strategic challenge'.

Things like fuel consumption and tyre performance will also be visible for players while the braking mode is also said to have been completely revised.

“The development team worked hard to make substantial changes to the brake system, in order to make it more challenging, risky but also rewarding,” a team source said.

On top of all of that, the trend towards greater aerodynamic components has been remodelled, as well.

Now, the components are not only on the bike, but handling will become trickier the more damage they sustain.

There will also be a manager mode as well as in-season bike development in what promises to be an absolutely brilliant experience for bike-lovers.

So far, the developers have made all the right moves and we can only hope that the game lives up to the hype when it finally drops.

If all goes according to plan, the game is expected to be available on PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch on April 23.

We can't wait.
