Football fans have been left twiddling their thumbs amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Sport has taken a backseat as the virus spreads around and although it's in the best interest of everybody's health, it has left supporters bemoaning the subsequent dearth of football.
As a result, many fans have wound back the clock and are starting to share throwback videos on social media, reminding themselves about past action in the absence of the present.
You only need to look at Premier League Subreddits to see old clips of Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and other footballing heroes racking up thousands of views.
And on r/soccer - the most popular football community - on Thursday, an interesting thread emerged where fans were discussing great goals that have largely been forgotten.
Great, forgotten goals
We played a similar game for the Premier League in December, but we just couldn't resist highlighting some of the screamers that have been unearthed on this particular post.
There's been a focus on belters that haven't received the publicity they deserve either because they were scored in a convincing loss for a team or by a player who isn't necessarily fashionable.

1. Daniele De Rossi vs Manchester United
Getting absolutely slaughtered 7-1 means your consolation goal won't live long in the memory, but De Rossi's one-of-a-kind volley, which an Olympic gymnast would applaud, is worthy of bucking the trend.
2. Johan Elmander vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
This goal has become slighter better known recently for being in these sorts of lists and Elmander deserves the extra praise for essentially turning into Dennis Bergkamp for five seconds.
3. Diego Tristan vs AS Monaco
In a truly bonkers 8-3 defeat, Deportivo's Tristan had the misfortune of having his marvellous solo goal confined to memories of footballing hipsters when it warranted so much more recognition.
4. Christian Benteke vs Manchester United
We have to admit, this is probably the most well-known goal on the list, but the fact that Anthony Martial gave Martin Tyler a scoregasm in the same game means it's forgotten more and more each season.
5. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar vs Real Madrid
Huntelaar walloping this insane volley in off the crossbar would have been one of the most talked about Champions League goals for years if it wasn't for the fact Schalke were routed 6-1 at home.
6. Rafael vs Queens Park Rangers
This goal is better remembered for the fact Robin van Persie ended up on his backside during the buildup as opposed to Rafael firing home a blockbuster shot in Sir Alex Ferguson's final season.
7. Lionel Messi vs Villarreal
To be honest, near enough every goal from Barcelona's 2010/11 season could be included on this list and Messi's supreme linkup play with Pedro is just one instance of that team's brilliance being, well, run of the mill.
8. Pedro Obiang vs Tottenham Hotspur
A far from iconic player in a pretty dull game means that this absolute rocket-launcher of a shot at Wembley Stadium has been cruelly brushed under the carpet just two years after it rippled the net.
9. Oscar vs Queens Park Rangers
If only Oscar played in Europe for longer. The Brazilian wasn't the greatest midfielder in the world for Chelsea, but he always had an eye for a great goal and this outside of the boot effort might be his best ever.
10. Fernando Torres vs Celta Vigo
In truth, Torres was bang average when he returned to Atletico in 2016, but he still produced a stunning overhead kick that nobody seems to talk about despite him being such a loved player.
11. Didier Drogba vs Tottenham Hotspur
There was so much going on in Chelsea's 5-1 demolition job that it's easy to forget the stunning goal from Drogba that started the party. The fact it was so close to Munich also took away from its screen time...
Forgotten belters
Admit it, you'd forgotten about some of those worldies.
It's funny how goals can escape the minds of fans when the opposing team ran riot or the player who scored it isn't necessarily in the headlines enough for it to be constantly replayed.
For our money, the one worthiest of attention is De Rossi's volley at Old Trafford just for how unique it was and for the sad fact that Cristiano Ronaldo's masterclass has robbed it from recollections.
But let every goal in the Subreddit serve as proof that even screamers that have escaped the minds of fans are evidence that brilliance can emerge in the beautiful game when you least expect it.
