The last WWE Draft in October 2019 has seen emphasis placed on two Hispanic superstars in the form of Andrade and Humberto Carrillo.

And during Andrade's recent 30-day suspension, they were joined by former Cruiserweight Champion Angel Garza.

Along with Rey Mysterio, the foursome have been delivering entertaining matches on Monday nights and who knows, they may all compete against each other at WrestleMania for the U.S. Championship.

It's been a while since the rocket was strapped to a Latino star, and the last one of note was Alberto Del Rio, who pretty much won everything there was to win in his past stints with WWE, including multiple world championships.

In recent times though, Del Rio has decided to revert to Mixed Martial Arts, a sport that he partook in before his WWE days, and he was downed by UFC legend Tito Ortiz in a match for Combate Americas in December 2019 inside just one round.

It doesn't seem like Del Rio wants to continue his MMA stint, and instead he's targeting a return to WWE - and says he's already been in communication with the company.

“We have been in communication,” Del Rio stated on the Nos Cayó La Noche show, per WrestleZone.

“We have rebuilt the bridge. On their part, they were wrong on some decisions and I also did some things wrong on my part.

I am hoping that we can reach an agreement sometime this year or by the middle of this year I’ll be back there.

Del Rio may think that he could be returning to WWE, but others think it's way off the mark.

According to Fightful Select - per Ringside News - a company source has claimed that Del Rio's claims are bulls**t.

And another apparent reason for not wanting Del Rio back is to do with his former girlfriend Paige, who still works for WWE and it's thought that the Mexican wasn't the best of influences on her.

So it would seem pretty unlikely that Del Rio would be signed back up anytime soon, but WWE have been very unpredictable recently...
