Tyson Fury unleashed one of the finest heavyweight performances in an age when he dismantled Deontay Wilder at the MGM Grand last month.

Fury absolutely blew the American away with a masterclass of boxing that left Wilder's team with no choice but to throw in the towel in the seventh round.

Now, the pair are set for a massive trilogy fight with Wilder desperate to avenge his embarrassing loss at the hands of the determined Brit.

While many are chomping at the bit to see Fury take on Anthony Joshua, Wilder will be hoping to upset the odds and add his own name to the hat in terms of the AJ discussion.

Many have been questioning Wilder's decision to invoke the rematch clause, but, according to Mike Tyson, it was the right decision.

In an interview with The Sportsman, Tyson outlined that Wilder needed to get back into the swing of things as soon as possible.

Below is a short snippet from the remarkable interview conducted in Tyson's home:

Tyson Fury is once again heavyweight WBC champion. How do you view the calibre of the modern British fighters like Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua?

"They’re in the best shape possible to be in and getting the most out of this sport as they can."
Is there a danger they are too nice and respectful for the fight game?

"No, I don’t think so. Not as far as attitude and will to win. These guys are really desperate to win."

Wilder has asked for an immediate rematch. Do agree with that decision or do you think he should take a year out to regroup?

"He has to go right back in, right away. Get yourself healthy, your head right, and get back in the ring."

You can be sure that both fighters will be ready to go when they take to the canvas for the third time.

Fury will be looking at doing away with Wilder once and for all while the American will be on a mission to revive his career after his first devastating loss.
