Let’s face it, at some point in our lives we’ve all wondered who would win in a fight between WWE and UFC star Brock Lesnar, and boxing legend Mike Tyson.
Tyson was responsible for some of the most brutal knock-outs in the history of combat sports while Lesnar has been a part of some truly iconic battles in the ring and Octagon.
Both men have their strengths and a fight between the two would have been quite a sight to behold.
Unfortunately, it is simply never going to happen so the next best thing would be to simulate one.
Lo and behold YouTube channel ‘Crazy UFC Fighters’ heard our cry and did just that, with the simulation ending in a surprising result.
Using EA Sports’ UFC 2 game, the channel chose to use the ‘Legacy Version’ of Mike Tyson while creating a custom character for Lesnar.
Both fighters came out all guns blazing right from the off with both Lesnar and Tyson landing some stonking blows on their opponent.
However, ‘Iron Mike’ started to exert his authority on the contest as the round wore on and eventually left the former UFC heavyweight in quite a state by the end of the round.
The second round is where all the drama started - and finished - with Tyson killing off the contest in the blinking of an eye.
A quite magnificent, uppercut, left hook combo left Lesnar in absolute bits, as the former wrestler hit the canvas like a sack of bricks.
It didn’t end there, however, as Tyson capitalised, smashing Lesnar in the face a further five times before the fight was halted and awarded to the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’.
While we understand that, in the end, it is just a bit of silly fun, it still makes for fascinating viewing especially when all the live sport we are used to is on hold.
It may be the quarantine driving me mad, but for some reason, this simulation looked more and more real as time went on.
