Bret Hart has called Goldberg one of the most 'unprofessional' and 'dangerous' wrestlers in the business.
The current Universal Champion, 53, ended Hart's career at WCW Starrcade in 1999, botching a kick that left his opponent with a severe concussion.
Since then, The Hitman has often spoken about the incident and it's fair to say he's never been one to hold back.
Now, he's likened working with Goldberg to wrestling a 'real gorilla'.
"I always knew what I was doing and I would hurt myself before I hurt another wrestler," Hart said during an appearance on Broken Skull Sessions, per NoDQ.
"I just wish some of the wrestlers I worked with especially in the end like Goldberg - Goldberg to me was one of the most unprofessional wrestlers there was in the business.
"I mean for Bill Goldberg to be in the Hall Of Fame. He hurt everyone he ever worked with. You might as well wrestle a real gorilla.
"He was the most dangerous guy to work with. He hurt everyone he worked with. I remember Curt Hennig being in pain all the time from the matches they had.
"Even when I worked with Bill, the last thing I said to Bill before we went out to have that match that ended my career. I said, ‘Bill you can do whatever you want out there, just don’t hurt me.'"
It seems quite surreal that a man with Goldberg's reputation is currently WWE Universal Champion.
He's already rather unpopular with the fans right now, given how he squashed The Fiend at Super ShowDown last month, so Hart's latest comments will further damage his appeal.
Next up though, the part-time champion will face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36. Let's just hope the Big Dog comes through it unscathed.
