The Rock has sent praise Shayna Baszler’s way after she did a brilliant job of promoting her upcoming empty arena match vs Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36.

WWE announced earlier this week that due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, they will be moving WrestleMania this year from Tampa to the Performance Center in Orlando.

Just like recent Raw and SmackDown shows, WrestleMania will also take place inside an empty arena for the first time in the history of the Showcase of Immortals. The show is still scheduled to take place on April 5.

Shayna Baszler, who will be facing Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship on the show, did a fantastic job of promoting her upcoming match and made use of the conditions of the event.

The Queen of Spades tweeted: “My first #WrestleMania moment will be perfect. No one in the arena to dampen the sound of tendons ripping and bones cracking & snapping as I become the RAW women’s champion & usher in a new era #Reality #CrankRipTear”

Talk about making the best out of a tough situation!

The Rock absolutely loved this tweet by Baszler and gave her some praise for it.

The People’s Champion said: “Now thats a “ticket sellin” tweet 👏🏾 (empty arena is quite fun though;) Can’t wait 👊🏾”

The Queen of Spades earned a match against The Man for the Raw Women’s title at this year’s Showcase of Immortals when she won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match almost two weeks ago.

Baszler made history by becoming the first superstar in WWE to win an Elimination Chamver match by eliminating every single other superstar that was competing. She eliminated Natalya, Asuka, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, and Ruby Riott from the match.

Currently, Baszler vs Lynch is one of seven matches confirmed for WrestleMania 36 this year, and an eighth is expected to be added by this time next week, that being the Last Man Standing match between Edge and Randy Orton.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many matches that were originally planned for WrestleMania are expected to be either postponed until a later date or cancelled outright.

We’ll have to wait and see what WWE does, but clearly, Baszler is making the most out of this tough situation.
