WWE has announced that WrestleMania will take place over two nights for the first time ever. The 36th edition of the event was scheduled for Sunday, April 5 in Tampa, before being moved to the Performance Center. Originally, it was expected to be a one night show but will now take place over two weekends and will be hosted by three-time Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski. WWE's statement reads:"WrestleMania, for the first time ever, will be held as a two-night event streaming on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and available on pay-per-view."The two-night pop culture extravaganza will be hosted by three-time Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski."Tune in to SmackDown this Friday at 8 pm ET on FOX to see what Gronk has in store for WrestleMania."As previously announced, only essential personnel will be on the closed set during the production of WrestleMania." 
Very interesting indeed, but it seems that's not all. According to talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy, WrestleMania could take place across multiple locations. "A WWE rep contacted me to say: 'WrestleMania will not only take place at WWE’s training facility but will include multiple locations over two nights.'"All locations will be closed sets with only essential personnel. That’s all we know at this point. MSG has been a rumour."
He also tweeted to suggest this isn't over and to expect 'more big news'.
Well, it seems WWE are certainly making the best of a bad situation.
While the coronavirus outbreak has pretty much brought the rest of the world to a standstill, Vince McMahon is determined that the show must go on.
For that, he should be respected. We can't wait to see what WWE have in store for WrestleMania.
