Ranking Liverpool's 15 most extraordinary goals under Jurgen Klopp

FBL-ENG-PR-SOUTHAMPTON-LIVERPOOL

When the hour finally arrives, Liverpool are going to be worthy Premier League champions.

Perhaps we can't describe their title win as *imminent* - we have no idea realistically when it will be safe for the Premier League to return - but it has been a long time coming.

Not only have the Reds waited three decades to reign supreme over English football again, it will mark the culmination of four-and-a-half years of hard work under Jurgen Klopp.

The German's reign has seen countless highs, a few lows, and some remarkable goals along the way.

Mo Salah and Sadio Mane have, inevitably, been the source of many such wonder strikes.

Yet some unlikely suspects have also graced Anfield and beyond with a few extraordinary net-busters.

The champions-elect may not have earned their just reward yet, but that hasn't stopped us reminiscing about the best goals of the Klopp era.

15. Adam Lallana vs Norwich

Lallana's technique was decent enough on the volley, though we have to admit this has largely been included because of the scenes afterwards. One of the Premier League's greatest ever matches.

14. Sadio Mane vs Burnley

For once, it wasn't exactly a pinpoint cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold and took a big deflection on its way into the box. That meant Mane had extra work to do with his first touch, before turning and blasting it into the roof of the net. The Senegal international hits the ball in such a unique way, it could only have been a classic Mane goal.

13. Mo Salah vs Watford

In happier times, when Liverpool were capable of beating Watford. We're just kidding, of course. The Egyptian scored a brace earlier this season and the second was just outrageous. That back-heel!

12. Curtis Jones vs Everton

The teenager announced himself to the world, and more importantly to Merseyside, when he was given his chance as part of a ridiculously under-strength Liverpool side that still managed to beat Everton in the FA Cup - all thanks to Jones' beautiful curling effort.

11. Sadio Mane vs Spartak Moscow

Mane managed to hit the ball with sweet precision despite being mid-fall.

10. Emre Can vs Hoffenheim

This wasn't really about the finish, but it was one of Liverpool's great team goals and for that reason, arguably one of the most underrated under Klopp.

9. Fabinho vs Manchester City

Fabinho's strike was hit with such velocity it broke a camera behind the goal. City were furious, the opener coming just moments after they had been denied a penalty for Trent Alexander-Arnold's apparent handball.

8. Mo Salah vs Tottenham

Salah unpicked the Tottenham defence artfully with an injury-time goal that spoke of his determination as much as his ability.

7. Daniel Sturridge vs Sevilla

Often forgotten among the heartache of that Europa League final, Sturridge's excellent finish was something to hold onto.

6. Philippe Coutinho vs Stoke

A player of this ability should not have struggled as much as Coutinho since he left Anfield. Even apart from his long-range finish, the Brazilian did superbly well to free himself from the Potters' clutches.

5. Daniel Sturridge vs Chelsea

With 89 minutes on the clock, Sturridge came to his side's rescue against his old club Chelsea with a phenomenal strike.

4. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain vs Manchester City

Had fate been kinder and Oxlade-Chamberlain spent less time in the treatment room, we might have seen more spectacular moments like this during his time at Anfield. The midfielder controlled the ball, took a touch and then thumped it past Ederson as part of a first-half blitz in the Champions League quarter-final.

4. Jordan Henderson vs Chelsea

Captain Fantastic doesn't get many, granted, but he won't hit one sweeter than his Golazo against Chelsea if he plays for another 50 years.

3. Philippe Coutinho vs Southampton

Very similar to his goal against Stoke. This one just edges it for us because of the noise it makes when it cracks off the underside of the bar. Oosh...

2. Emre Can vs Watford

Can won Sky Sports' Goal of the Season for his acrobatic scissor kick against the Hornets. The German at his imaginative best.

1. Mo Salah vs Chelsea

There's nothing we could possibly say to do justice to the curve on Salah's goal against Chelsea. Do yourself a favour and put the sound on for the commentary...

Best of all, the most exhilarating high of Klopp's tenure is still to come.

We don't know when it will be, but lifting the Premier League trophy will surpass the joy of all these moments of the past four years.
