It’s not always easy to keep yourself entertained when stuck at home for long periods of time. There’s only so much Netflix you can watch, or Football Manager you can play, before you eventually get bored. But footballers are currently keeping themselves busy during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic by attempting the #StayAtHomeChallenge. For those unaware, this challenge has seen various high-profile footballers trying to juggle a roll of toilet paper for as long and as creatively as possible. It’s a lot harder than it sounds - give it a go if you don’t believe us!Toilet roll is, of course, in short supply at the moment. So don’t waste it if you do give it a go.We’ve collated the best (and worst) attempts into one article and ranked them in order.Let’s begin…17. Gary NevilleGary Neville is arguably the best right-back of the Premier League era but the Manchester United hero-turned-Sky Sports pundit made a right mess of his attempt live on air. You can tell he’s been retired almost 10 years!

16. Jamie Carragher

Neville’s mate Jamie Carragher was also pretty rubbish. If we were just counting his first attempt, he’d be rock bottom of the list - but we’ll let him off.

15. Marcus Rashford

Bonus points for dressing up as Scorpion from Mortal Kombat but this was quite underwhelming from Man Utd’s star striker.

14. Petr Cech

Petr Cech, the legendary Premier League goalkeeper, puts both his football and ice hockey skills to good use with his attempt.

13. Felipe Melo

One of the funnier ones we’ve seen so far, Felipe Melo stays true to his brand with a brutal tackle on the helpless toilet roll.

12. John Terry

“I was going to put my kit on but I couldn’t find my shin pads,” John Terry wrote as the caption for this Champions League-inspired #StayAtHomeChallenge. Fair play!

11. Peter Crouch

Not a bad effort this, Crouchy! That little flick at the start was particularly enjoyable.

10. Phil Foden

Lovely stuff from one of the best young English footballers. That chest control…

9. Bruno Fernandes

A solid effort from Bruno Fernandes, every Man Utd fan’s new favourite player.

8. Thierry Henry

The first part of this is exquisite from the man considered by many as the greatest Premier League player ever. He finishes off with a no-look kick but it could have been so much better!

7. Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Not one but two around the worlds from Bruno’s United teammate Aaron Wan-Bissaka - love that!

6. Billy Gilmour

Chelsea’s 18-year-old midfielder Billy Gilmour made a massive impact before coronavirus stopped football. The Scot channelled his inner Brazilian during the #StayAtHomeChallenge, pulling off a powerful scissor kick before looking a bit sheepish towards the camera. Maybe he broke a vase or a mirror.

5. Harvey Elliott

Liverpool’s 16-year-old winger Harvey Elliott shows off his skills - and his extensive trainer collection - in what appears to be his bedroom.

4. Tammy Abraham

Extra marks to Tammy Abraham for the initial touch with the outside of his right foot - silky! He then does a couple of around the worlds before hitting the toilet roll back to the person filming. Smooth.

3. Mason Mount

Mason Mount juggles the toilet roll with both feet by hitting a powerful volley into the washing bin. In the words of Andy Gray… what a hit son! What a hit!

2. Lionel Messi

The GOAT makes this look far too easy. How is he so good?

1. Hachim Mastour

This is just silly from Hachim Mastour, the former wonderkid who was signed by AC Milan for €500,000 aged 14. Now 21, the Moroccan’s career hasn’t panned out as many expected it would - he currently plays for his boyhood club, Reggina - but the lad certainly knows how to juggle a toilet roll.
