The Premier League and EFL have confirmed all domestic football is suspended until at least April 30 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Their decision came after an emergency meeting with club officials on Thursday.
It's still unclear if the situation in six weeks time will allow football to resume and it's a possibility that the season could be further postponed through the summer.
Pushing back the return date was not the only topic discussed by all 20 top-flight clubs during this conference call.
Various opinions on how to conclude the season were also shared.

- All clubs have now isolated and the reason the return date is 30th April is that it takes on the isolation period and gives clubs extra days to catch up on the training missed in that time.
- All clubs want appropriate preparation time and feel that is a fair timeframe for the league's return.
- It has been confirmed that several clubs did request to void the season yesterday, but all were told they have an obligation to keep playing.
- Resuming the season behind closed doors is the Premier League's current favourite scenario with matches being played in a small number of neutral venues.
- As previously reported, one idea is for all teams to be out in the midlands, playing every three days.
- The 'Bundesliga route' is one of many scenarios being considered for the EFL - with no relegations and a bigger Premier League next season a possibility.
The situation regarding domestic football is obviously very fluid, so it could all change in the near future.
But the Premier League and EFL are working hard with clubs to find the best solution to finishing the 2019/20 season at a time when coronavirus has brought the sporting world to a standstill.
