We’re still not sure whether Manchester United will get the chance to compete for an automatic spot in the Champions League, or try to win the Europa League.The 2019/20 season has been put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak and while there is a hope that the campaign will be completed at some point, there’s no guarantee of that happening.It would be an almighty shame because there are some fascinating storylines right now in the world of football.Liverpool are on the verge of winning the league for the first time in 30 years. Leeds United are on the brink of returning to the top-flight.There are intense battles at the top of La Liga and Serie A as well.Man United were on a great run of form before play was called to a halt, their unbeaten run stretching to 11 games with a 5-0 win over LASK on March 12.And if that’s it for the 2019/20 campaign, we’ve imagined how the Red Devils’ end-of-season awards ceremony might look.Without further ado…Player of the Season - Marcus RashfordRashford hasn’t played since suffering a back injury in January, which has been an almighty shame because he was playing at a superb level.The 22-year-old forward managed 18 goals in all competitions, including 14 in 22 league games, and it was great to see.Despite the injury, he remains Man United’s standout player, with Fred and Aaron Wan-Bissaka pushing him close to the award.Young Player of the Season - Aaron Wan-BissakaWan-Bissaka has excelled in his debut season at Old Trafford.In the Premier League he’s averaged 3.8 tackles and two interceptions per game.Wan-Bissaka is living up to the hype.Worst Player of the Season - Jesse LingardIt just hasn’t been Lingard’s season.Reduced to a bit-part role, the midfielder has netted just two goals in all competitions and reports claim he will be sold in the next transfer window.Most Improved Player - FredFred is in the conversation for Man United’s Player of the Season, but we’ve gone with him to win the Most Improved award given his impressive efforts in 2019/20.The Brazilian midfielder struggled last season but has finally settled at Old Trafford, and Man United fans are now seeing the best of him.They’ve been treated to some wonderful displays, including in the thumping 5-0 wins over Club Brugge and LASK in the Europa League.Most Underrated Player - Scott McTominayMcTominay made his mark under Jose Mourinho and he’s continuing to shine with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in charge.The Scottish midfielder has proven himself to be Man United material, playing with a passion and desire that has quickly endeared him to the club’s supporters.Just look at this clip of him bossing around his teammates in injury-time in a 2-1 win against Chelsea in October.

Both were in the conversation, but Rashford’s superb free-kick against Chelsea takes it.

In the Carabao Cup win over the Blues in October, the England international let fly from 35 yards out and sent a whipping knuckleball beyond Willy Caballero into the top corner.

The fact that it proved to be the winner just adds to it. Brilliant stuff.

One to watch next season - Mason Greenwood

Greenwood’s development this season has been clear for all to see.

He has 12 goals in all competitions for the first team, proving himself to be an expert finisher.

The youngster is just 18 years old but United could have their striker of the future.

He’s bound to get even more opportunities next season, and don’t be surprised if he takes them.
