Captains are a big part of every football team.

Typically, a good captain has to be influential both on and off the pitch.

A good example of that is Liverpool's Jordan Henderson - who has shown his importance to his club side in the past few years.

But, performance-wise, is he the best captain in the Premier League?

Using stats provided by WhoScored.com, we've ranked every Premier League captain from worst to best using their statistics from this season.

All stats used are strictly from their performances in the Premier League. Stats from domestic and European cups have not been taken into account.
