Khabib is one of the UFC’s biggest stars and most feared fighters, who currently competes in the lightweight division.

He holds the UFC lightweight belt and has beaten the likes of Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Edson Barboza during his hugely successful career.

The video shows the fighter’s top finishes, including his brutal elbow KO of Brazil’s Thiago Tavares in January 2013 and his neck crank submission against McGregor in October 2018.

Khabib, also known as ‘The Eagle’, hails from Dagestan in Russia and currently holds a record of 28-0-0 (8KOs), making him the longest active undefeated fighter in the sport.

He is second on the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings, behind American light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and ahead of bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo.

Khabib is known for his ability to dominate his opponents on the floor and submit them using strongholds or chokes.

The video shows Khabib’s submission victory over Kamal Shalorus from January 2012 on the undercard of Guillard vs Miller.

The video also shows his KO of Darrell Horcher in just the second round. Horcher was unable to deal with Khabib’s strength and was overwhelmed before the Russian ended the bout with a flurry of punches.

Khabib’s next fight is against Tony Ferguson on April 18. UFC president Dana White has said that the fight will go ahead without an audience as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, which has so far affected over 300,000 people worldwide.

However, the fight is unlikely to take place in New York or even America as a result of the outbreak.

The pair have previously been set to face each other in the Octagon numerous times, but the bouts have been cancelled or postponed as a result of injuries and failed weight cuts.

White is desperate for this fight to go ahead to please fans around the world. Ferguson is a feared fighter and is the former interim lightweight champion, with a record of 26-3-0 (12KOs), which makes this potential fight hard to predict.

Let’s hope that it won’t be called off this time and that we’ll finally be able to see these two legends meet in the Octagon.
