Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has hit out at WWE for treating their ‘talent like s**t’ for booking Brock Lesnar as WWE Champion on the Road to WrestleMania 36.

Brock Lesnar is scheduled to defend the WWE Championship at this year’s WrestleMania on the weekend of April 4-5 against Drew McIntyre.

The WWE title match is expected to main event one of the nights on WrestleMania weekend, but in the eyes of Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, The Beast shouldn’t be in the spot.

Speaking on the FlipDaScript podcast, via Wrestling Inc, Roberts hit out against WWE as he believes it’s disrespectful towards the rest of the roster to have Lesnar entering WrestleMania as WWE Champion.

He said: "The thing about Brock is man, he's not an everyday wrestler. He's a once a year guy, or three times a year guy. And to me, you are really treating your talent like s--t to, every year come Wrestlemania time after these guys have busted their asses for 365 days, when it comes time for the big one, they bring (Lesnar) in and they have to sit down.

"What's wrong with that. Well, from their viewpoint they are getting screwed, man. It's a shame the WWE feels like they have to have Brock on the card to fill up a building."

Roberts admitted that Lesnar is a draw for WWE and that they do need him on the card in order to sell out buildings.

However, just like many wrestling fans, he also believes needs to do more for the talent that they have that is there on a full-time basis, and give them opportunities to succeed.

Of course, that opportunity could occur as soon as WrestleMania 36 in two weeks, as McIntyre could beat Lesnar and become WWE Champion.

How long will it be though until The Beast becomes a top title holder in WWE again? We’ve already seen Lesnar drop titles several times in the recent past, only to win it back again, or another title, within the year.

Yes, Lesnar is a draw for WWE, but at some point, WWE has to start building up their talent for tomorrow.
