FIFA 20 has been hitting the headlines amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

EA Sports' flagship game has become an outlet for people to entertain themselves in self-isolation, picking up the controller if they've been sent home for work or are looking after a loved one.

In the absence of real football, which will be suspended in England until at least April 30, the game's digital representation of the sport has become the next best thing as fans twiddle their thumbs.

Leyton Orient have even sparked excitement by introducing an 'UltimateQuaranTeam' tournament where 128 clubs will slug it out with a fundraising target of £50,000.

Meanwhile, professional footballers such as Gareth Bale, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and many more are unveiling their own FIFA 20 competition in order to '#CombatCorona'.

FIFA 20 amid coronavirus

And FIFA simulations, including on GIVEMESPORT, have even been used to give fans a tantalising prediction for fixtures that were due to be played now, but have been delayed by months.

So, there's plenty of reason to pick up your controller over the coming weeks and you'll want to make sure your gameplay is polished up so you can avoid losing to your mates.

And we have good news for you if that's the case because the team at Denmark's Gamerzclass are offering you the chance to get FIFA 20 lessons from professional players for a bargain price.

Free classes for donors

Their courses, which usually cost $30, are now available for free if you make a donation of at least $10 to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO (World Health Organization).

If a receipt of the donation is sent to info@gamerzclass.com with your choice of course, then it will be made available to you for absolutely nothing.

Their official statement read: "With all of the recent development happening around COVID-19 and the worldwide pandemic, we see yet again another occasion where the world decides to unite together and fight against the damages caused by this global situation.

"Starting from today up until the 31st of March, if you donate at least $10 to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO below, we will send you a FREE GamerzClass course of your choice as a thank you for helping out.

"Donations support WHO’s work to track and understand the spread of the virus; to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information; and to accelerate efforts to develop vaccines, tests, and treatments."

Other courses available

The available FIFA 20 courses are taught by professional players Donovan 'Tekkz' Hunt and Ivan 'Boras' Lapanje, focusing on 'attacking' and 'fundamentals' respectively.

But fear not if FIFA isn't your game of choice because lessons on Dota, CS GO, Fortnite and League of Legends are also available if a donation is submitted.

So, if spending time indoors is already proving tiresome, then find solace in the fact you could become a better FIFA 20 player and help fight the coronavirus crisis all in one go.
