It's been a wild 12 months for Hulk off the pitch.

The Brazil and Shanghai SIPG star split from his wife Iran last July after a 12-year relationship.

The two had three children together: Ian (10), Thiago (8) and Alice (6).

He caused major controversy just a few months later when it was announced that he had begun a relationship with Iran's niece, Camila.

Hulk and Camila were said to have started dating in October, three months after the Brazilian winger's split from Iran.

And now, it has been reported by Argentine newspaper ‘Infobae’, per the Mirror, that the two have married.

They write that the sudden marriage was due to the fact Camila needed a visa to stay in China, where they live.

Hulk has not released a statement confirming the news but his Instagram activity does hint that they are now married.

Last month, Hulk posted an image while he was in Dubai which appears to show the two getting married.

He accompanied that image with another which appears to show them wearing wedding rings.

Hulk also has in his Instagram bio that he is married and his latest image also appears to show them wearing wedding rings.

Camilla reportedly apologised to her aunt for the relationship in a deleted Instagram post last year. "Aunt Iran, I first want to tell you that this message is not an explanation or justification of anything.

"I needed to tell you some things that unfortunately circumstances do not allow me to say personally.

"Although it is irrelevant to you now, I love you very much and care about you, so I am speaking here.

"It's been very hard to face all this, but I wouldn't do it if it wasn't true.

"I never imagined it could happen, but we don't rule our heart, no one is immune or exempt from it. Live the greatest of feelings.

"I'm sorry for everything. If I could choose, we wouldn't be going through this, but life doesn't spin the way we imagine it to.

"He showed me that there was no chance of a possible return, so we allowed ourselves to live."
