WWE news: Free access to most WWE Network is being offered for a limited time

The WWE Network is offering free content

The spread of coronavirus has forced millions of people around the world to self-isolate inside their homes.

So what are most of us doing with all this free time on the sofa?

Binging an awful lot of TV, of course.

If you're already running out of boxsets to watch, fear not, because WWE have stepped in to help - by offering fans most of the content on the WWE Network for free.

The press release below details the offer.

"Beginning today, WWE is pleased to unlock a vast portion of the WWE Network library and extend free access to thousands of hours of extraordinary on-demand content.

"This unprecedented offering to WWE fans worldwide includes each epic installment to date of WrestleMania, plus, every Royal Rumble, SummerSlam and Survivor Series event.

"Every NXT TakeOver and NXT UK TakeOver; and groundbreaking originals such as the entire WWE 24 docuseries, Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions interview show, WWE Ruthless Aggression, and its 20-episode predecessor, The Monday Night War series."

Free access to the WWE Network begins in the buildup to WrestleMania

Now that's a lot of good content, but that's not all. Recent episodes of RAW and SmackDown will also be included in the offer.

As we build up towards WrestleMania, this is the perfect way to get into the mood for The Showcase of the Immortals, which airs on April 4 and April 5.

Fans will still have to subscribe and pay for the WWE Network to watch WrestleMania, of course. But the rest of the content is free for a limited time.

You will still need to pay for WrestleMania 36

We're not sure quite how long this offer will be around for, so what are you waiting for?

It's time to jump into some classics. We're probably going to start with some old-school PPVs - WrestleMania XV seems like a good place to start.
