Two WWE superstars - Dana Brooke and Rey Mysterio - are reportedly in quarantine and will miss WrestleMania.

Brooke was set to challenge for the SmackDown Women's Championship in a six-pack challenge but appears to have been pulled from the match.

It is now expected to be a fatal five-way.

Similarly, a leaked card suggested Mysterio was set to be involved in a fatal four-way for the United States Championship, but that match seems to have been pulled entirely.

Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer is now reporting that both Brooke and Mysterio are in quarantine, forcing WrestleMania plans to change.

"Dana Brooke was in the match, she is now out of the match," Meltzer said of the six-pack challenge on Wrestling Observer Radio, per WrestlingNews.co

"She’s in quarantine right now. They don’t want to take any chances. They pulled her from the match because she’s sick. They are concerned, so there you go. She’s in quarantine."

Meltzer also confirmed that Mysterio was set to challenge for the US Championship at WrestleMania, but he has also been put in isolation.

"This came out of nowhere," Meltzer continued.

"There were a lot of different ideas, multiple different ideas for US title match. From last week, the main idea was probably going to be Andrade and Rey.

"Rey is also in quarantine so he’s off the show. You've got to be safe rather than sorry for sure."

It's certainly a shame that it seems two superstars have had WrestleMania moments taken away from them by the coronavirus.

But as Meltzer suggests, it's better to be safe to avoid spreading any illness throughout the company.

So far, WWE's mentality has been 'the show must go on,' but if more superstars are at risk of getting sick, then it's unlikely they will be able to for much longer.
