Rusev has announced he will be donating $20,000 to WWE employees who aren’t being paid at the moment due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Many companies around the world have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, and WWE is no exception.WWE has moved their live shows, including WrestleMania 36, to their Performance Center in Orlando, and each show is being broadcasted without any fans in attendance.WWE has also been recording their shows for the next few weeks at the Performance Center this week, including this year’s Showcase of Immortals. Only essential personal have been required for the shows, meaning some behind the scenes employees aren’t working at the moment.Due to the coronavirus, some employees as well have not been able to travel to the Performance Center for the shows, whether that be due to being in quarantine or due to travel bans. To help those folks out, Rusev has kindly donated them some money out of his own pocket. The Bulgarian Brute announced on Twitter that he will be donating $20,000 to WWE employees who are without income at the moment due to the coronavirus.Rusev tweeted: “In Bulgaria we say “It’s not a lot but it’s from the heart” I pledge 20,000$ to any of my WWE extended family that are sitting at home without income. WE can’t do it without y’all. Production, security, etc. LOVE YALL.”

A pretty awesome gesture from The Bulgarian Brute! This is bound to help some WWE employees out during these unprecedented times.

According to reports, Dana Brooke and Rey Mysterio are in quarantine and will not be part of the upcoming WrestleMania 36 show. Brooke was scheduled to be a part of the SmackDown Women’s Championship match but she has since been pulled from the card.

Rusev hasn’t been seen in WWE for the past couple of weeks, and he’s unlikely to be a part of this year’s Showcase of Immortals. His last match for the company was back on February 17. His current contract with WWE is expected to expire soon.
