WWE news: AJ Styles reveals that a grave will be involved in his WrestleMania match v The Undertaker

AJ Styles has released some details about his WrestleMania match with The Undertaker

By the time WrestleMania weekend is finished, The Undertaker will have competed at the event for a record-breaking 27th time.

That is an incredible achievement and one that he should be proud of, and it's remarkable to see that he's still going at the age of 55.

Taker hasn't competed in a full-blown match since Extreme Rules in July 2019, where he tagged with Roman Reigns to defeat Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.

But he will don his wrestling gear once again to take on AJ Styles, the man he took down at Super ShowDown last month in Saudi Arabia to win the 'prestigious' Tuwaiq Trophy, but it doesn't look like he will be 'stepping between the ropes'.

That is because his bout with The Phenomenal One is going to be a 'Boneyard Match', something which Styles revealed on Raw this past Monday, and fans have been trying to work out what the bout actually entails.

Styles revealed news of the Boneyard Match to his fans on Mixer

Well fear not, as AJ has dished out some crucial details that pretty much tell us what the objective of a Boneyard Match is.

During one of his regular gaming live streams, Styles told fans that the match will not take place in a wrestling ring, and it will also feature a grave, per WhatCulture.

The Buried Alive match looks to be making a return under a different name

That sounds awfully similar a good old-fashioned Buried Alive match, which last happened in 2010 at Bragging Rights between Taker and Kane.

It also sounds like WWE are going to be creating a purpose-built cemetery for this mach, which will give it an ultra-special feeling.

Considering WrestleMania isn't live this year, WWE have plenty of time to edit things together and make the 'burial' seem realistic, but let's hope they don't go all 'House Of Horrors' with any special effects...
