UFC welterweight Mike Perry has shared a throwback video of him knocking out a drunk outside a nightclub.

The video shows Perry clearly getting into an aggressive foray with the victim.

It is reported that Perry was being harassed, and was even punched, by the man at the time and he retaliated by neutralising the man.

Sharing to his Instagram profile, his followers saw as Perry knocked down the troublesome male with a simple one-hit-wonder.

In a caption beneath the video, Perry said: “Goin to the beach boy! #Tbt #ViralChallenge #YOLO He’d actually just punched me in the mouth. (Why do you think they started recording) I created space, he followed with his fists balled.

“As I stepped into position around the girl he either flinched or got distracted from what his drunk ass was doing which was harassing me. He wouldn’t stop so I ended it.

“I threw the jab/hook split seconds before he looked to the left. I could’ve continued to ground and pound him to death but walked away and spoke to the police.”

Perry is regarded as one of the top and most entertaining fighters in MMA despite being on a two-fight losing streak.

The 28-year-old has won 13 of his 19 fights, taking eleven of those as knock-out victories.

He has two Performance of the Night and two Fight of the Night bonuses to his name, proving that he always provides a good show within the Octagon.

Perry’s next fight has not yet been confirmed and he could face a lengthy time out with the coronavirus pandemic in full flow.

UFC president Dana White has been hard at work in making sure as many UFC events take place though.

UFC London, UFC Columbus and UFC Portland were all postponed but UFC 249 remains unconfirmed.
