Arsenal fan's video 'My experience supporting Arsenal - the low points’ is going viral

Arsenal FC v Watford FC - Premier League

While the vast majority of football fans would love nothing more than to have football back in their lives right now, Arsenal supporters might be enjoying the break more than most.

The past 10 - maybe even 15 - years haven’t been easy for the Gunners’ long-suffering fans.

From one crushing disappointment to another, Arsenal have been the source of much amusement for rival football fans and neutrals alike.

The north London outfit last won the Premier League title way back in 2004 - at the end of the ‘Invincibles’ season.

Nobody back then could have imagined that Arsenal, the best team in the country, were about to enter a period now referred to by many as the ‘Banter Era’.

The Gunners have won three FA Cups during this timeframe, but it’s fair to say there have been many - and we mean many - more lows than highs.

One fan - presumably a youngster because his first moment is Emmanuel Adebayor’s infamous length-of-the-pitch celebration after scoring for Manchester City against Arsenal in 2009 - has created an incredible video simply titled: ‘My experience supporting Arsenal | the low points’.

If you’re an Arsenal fan, prepare to experience the pain all over again.

If you’re not an Arsenal fan, get ready to laugh until it hurts.

Watch the brilliant video here…

After Adebayor’s celebration, we see the moment Cesc Fabregas had a Barcelona shirt forced onto him live on stage, Samir Nasri’s interview after joining City, Robin van Persie holding a Manchester United shirt after completing his shock move to Old Trafford and so on.

The crushing moments continue throughout the 2010s. We eventually see Shkodran Mustafi signing for the club, Unai Emery walking onto the Emirates Stadium pitch after replacing Arsene Wenger and, finally, a young fan crying after the Gunners’ 4-1 defeat against Chelsea in last season’s Europa League final.

The video is already closing in on 1,000 retweets and 3,000 ‘likes’ within the first 12 hours of being posted to Twitter.

It’s also led to some fantastic reaction in the comments…

When football does eventually return - whenever that might be - Arsenal fans will be praying the Banter Era has finally come to an end.
