WWE Hall of Famer Edge’s return to the ring will be featured on the WWE Network on April 6, just one night removed from WrestleMania 36; well, the second night of this year's Showcase Of The Immortals.

The documentary is called ‘Edge: The Second Mountain’ and will cover his remarkable return to professional wrestling.

‘The Rated-R Superstar’ made his return to the ring as an entrant in this year’s Royal Rumble match back in January and is due to meet former tag team partner Randy Orton at this year’s 'Mania.

This was instigated following a vicious attack by the ‘Legend Killer’ on his former ally on Monday Night Raw, one night after the Royal Rumble.

Edge, otherwise known as Adam Copeland, was forced to retire from the WWE back in 2011 less than a week after his title defence against Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania 27 after reportedly suffering symptoms of nueropraxia.

Copeland had already defied the odds once by coming back from spinal surgery in 2003, but it was reported following assessments at a neurosurgery in Pittsburgh he would never compete in the ring again.

‘The Rated-R Superstar’s’ wrestling career in the beginning really took off when he was partnered with best friend Christian, who he would go on to win seven tag team championships with.

Edge and Christian were also one of the main tag-team innovators of the classic Tables, Ladders and Chairs match in a memorable triple threat match with the Hardy Boys and the Dudley Boyz at WrestleMania 2000.

Following his tag-team success, ‘The Rated-R Superstar’ won an impressive 31 individual titles and made history in 2006 when he became the first man ever to cash in the Money In The Bank briefcase, earning him the nickname ‘The Ultimate Opportunist.’

The WWE Network news have also reported that as well as this highly anticipated emotional documentary, there will be an untold episode on Friday, April 3 focusing on the feud between ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 21.

This episode is another documentary not to miss and is described as: “Two of the greatest technical wrestling artists of all time created a masterpiece. Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle reminisce about the match that Angle calls the best of his career.”
