Jadon Sancho has ‘unofficially confirmed’ that he will complete a summer transfer to Manchester United, according to multiple reports.

The Red Devils are increasingly confident of sealing a deal for the England superstar, who is set to cost upwards of £100 million.

The City academy graduate has 27 goals and 27 assists in just 69 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia Dortmund, including 14 and 16 respectively this season.

United face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool, but the duo have cooled their interest to leave the Lancashire giants with a clear run at the 20-year-old.

And, according to the Irish Independent, Sancho has already ‘unofficially confirmed’ a return to Manchester having come through the ranks at City before moving to the Bundesliga.

While City would be the logical choice for the starlet, he has no intention of returning to the Etihad with an abundance of wide options already at Pep Guardiola’s disposal, such as Raheem Sterling, Riyadh Mahrez and Leroy Sane.

Sancho would likely inherit the coveted No.7 jersey at the Theatre of Dreams, and there is belief within the club that he will make the switch regardless of whether they return to the Champions League ahead of next season.

However, for City, there is a silver lining as they will receive a 15% sell-on fee of any move the superstar makes.

Additionally, Sancho will be looking at a deal with United that will see him earn £400,000-a-week which would make the Camberwell-born flyer the highest earner at Old Trafford by some distance.
Chances are that he will break the bank no matter which club he chooses to join, given the numbers he has already stacked up in such a short tenure.

To put things into perspective, in 90 senior fixtures so far in his young career, Sancho has netted 31 goals and provided another 42 assists for his teammates.

Comparatively, Lionel Messi had scored 26 goals and created eight assists when he turned 20, while Cristiano Ronald0 had 16 goals and 16 assists.

He became the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach 25 goals, becoming the first teenager to do so with a strike against Union Berlin in his 64th game at Westfalenstadion.

On top of this, the winger is also close friends with United pair Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, who have spoken to him regularly about a move to Old Trafford and reportedly have been a heavy influence in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pursuit of the winger.
