The Undertaker went full American Badass during his promo on Monday Night Raw this week which promoted his upcoming WrestleMania 36 match vs AJ Styles this weekend. The Undertaker is set to face AJ Styles this weekend at WrestleMania 36 in what is being called a Boneyard match. In the build-up to this match, Styles had been tip-toeing the line between kayfabe and reality, as at times, he has referred to The Deadman by his real name, Mark Calaway, and has brought up his wife as well, Michelle McCool. This week on Raw, it was The Undertaker’s time to return the favour, as he referred to The Phenomenal One by his real name, Allen Jones, all the while bringing back vibes of The American Badass. The Undertaker not only referred to Styles by his real name, but he also referenced Styles’ time in TNA and questioned whether the former TNA star had been too scared to make the jump to WWE prior to 2016.He said The Phenomenal One will pay the ultimate price for bringing McCool into the equation, and that all three members of The OC, including Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, will feel the wrath of the unholy trinity he will be bringing to WrestleMania. The Deadman finished off his promo by showing a gravestone with Styles' name on it.

Classic Undertaker. This is what WWE had been missing from this Undertaker vs Styles feud so far and they delivered it on Raw this week just in time for WrestleMania 36. Brilliant.

The Undertaker has had three matches for WWE in the past year. He beat Goldberg at last year’s Super ShowDown in June, teamed up with Roman Reigns to beat Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules last July, and won the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet match at 2020’s Super ShowDown last month.

While this Raw promo wasn’t a full return of The American Badass, many WWE fans on social media have reacted to Undertaker’s Raw promo in hope that the gimmick will make a return at the Showcase of Immortals this weekend.
