The coronavirus lockdown has left us all with little to do, and that includes professional footballers.Accustomed to spending their days running and kicking a ball about, they now find themselves trapped at home, with limited space in which to run about in.It’s led to players interacting more with their fans on social media, but Norwich City defender Timm Klose has shared a bit too much information. The Swiss player shared a picture on his Instagram story of himself watching a programme on Netflix. But eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Klose had a tab open to adult website Pornhub on his Apple MacBook. The 31-year-old quickly became the butt of the jokes on social media. Excuse the pun…“Always remember to close your tabs Timm Klose,” wrote @DaleAC231, while @DoodyBCFC joked: “Timm Klose keeping himself busy with no football.”@CastCanary wrote: “Looks like Timm Klose is enjoying lockdown."

Klose, who joined Norwich in 2016, has been limited to just one appearance for the Canaries this season owing to a serious knee injury.

Coronavirus has had a profound impact around the world.

Footballers have had to adapt as well. So used to having a football at their feet, they're suddenly having to switch up their routines.

They can maintain fitness levels to a degree but nothing compares to the competitive action of a real, 11-a-side game.

Ibby Akanbi, who plays for National League South side Maidstone United, spoke to football.london about the challenges he's facing.

"The biggest thing is not playing, not being able to even go to the park for a kickabout," he said.

"When you have something for so long you forget why you loved it in the first place.

"It’s like when you're in school and you can’t wait to get out. Then you think about it after you’ve left and those were the best times of my life.

"That's what football is."
