Ipswich goalkeeper Brian Murphy is set to make his comeback after three months out with a broken ankle.

Murphy picked up the injury before Christmas but has returned to training and could face Watford reserves on Thursday evening.

He said: "This is the worst injury I've had in my career."

He added: "It has been very frustrating and while there is not a good time to have a serious injury, we've had a new manager come in while I've been out as well so that wasn't ideal.

"I'll just have to try and impress him when I am fit.

"And hope the rest takes care of itself."
