Charlotte Flair has beaten Rhea Ripley to win the NXT Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36. The Queen's future is now up in the air, with a return to WWE's developmental territory a possibility. After all, it would be quite strange for an NXT champion to perform on the main roster, wouldn't it?Charlotte beat Ripley in the opening match of WrestleMania night two - starting the event off in fantastic fashion. Both superstars looked impressive during an intense battle, but Flair showed her class and experience, eventually picking up the win. The match ended with Ripley tapping to her opponents' figure-eight submission move.

Even though Charlotte won the title, we didn't get any official indication of what her next move will be in the aftermath of the match.

Perhaps all will be revealed on Monday Night RAW tomorrow?

Should the 11-time women's champion be put back on the NXT roster, she will be returning to familiar territory.

Charlotte competed for the black-and-yellow brand between 2012 and 2015, having a run with the Women's Championship before being called up to the main roster.

Given she's won four RAW titles and held the SmackDown Women's Championship five times, having The Queen compete on NXT will certainly freshen things up.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this one plays out.
