John Cena vs 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt was one of the most anticipated moments of WrestleMania 36 - and it did not let us down. The two battled in a 'Firefly Fun House' match - and it was absolutely ridiculous. Did you think Saturday's 'Boneyard Match' was going to be the strangest part of WrestleMania? Well, think again. It started with Wyatt introducing the match, and Cena appearing in the Fun House. He then walks through a door and meets a puppet version of Vince McMahon and Bray starts teasing him about the Ruthless Aggression era. The next segment sees Cena in his 'Doctor of Thuganomics' attire and he goes back and forth on the mic with Wyatt.

10 minutes in and we hadn't actually seen any wrestling. Strange, right? But fans were definitely loving it on social media.

After leaving John speechless on the mic, a circa-2014 Wyatt says it's time to 're-write his philosophy' and tries to goad Cena into hitting him with a chair, before disappearing.

Things got even trippier when the 16-time world champion is re-imagined as a member of NWO, before he's finally brutally attacked by The Fiend from behind, ending the match.

It was all utterly ridiculous, but incredible entertainment.

Wyatt first introduced us to the Firefly Fun House on April 22nd, 2019, shortly after WrestleMania.

So for things to come full circle like this 12 months later is a really cool pay off.

The ongoing coronavirus situation may have forced WWE to do things differently this year, but unique moments like these will be long-remembered by fans.

Saturday's 'Boneyard Match' between The Undertaker and AJ Styles stole the show on night one, but the Firefly Fun House raised the bar just 24 hours later.
