During the coronavirus lockdown, you’ve probably found yourself doing things you’d never usually do in your normal life.

How do you pass time stuck inside your house?

With gyms closed and government advice restricting us to one outdoor activity per day, many of us have turned to home workouts to stay active.

Many of us have been sticking on a YouTube video and sweating our way through it as we realise just how unfit and unflexible we really are.

But Cristiano Ronaldo is here to help us all.

The Portuguese superstar has challenged us to try the ‘core crusher challenge.’

In an Instagram video, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner showed us how to perform the challenge as he smashed out 142 repetitions in just 45 seconds.

In his post, he wrote: “Hey guys, I have a new challenge for you to stay active: the Living Room Cup. Can you step up and beat my core crusher record? Show me what you got and use #livingroomcup #playinside @nike @cristiano so I can 👀 you!”

So, why don’t you give it a try?

One person who has already taken on the challenge is fellow Portuguese footballer and Nike athlete Diogo Dalot.

He posted his effort on Instagram but could ‘only’ manage 105 reps within the time limit. Pathetic.

Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior also gave it a go.

While he beat Dalot’s effort, he couldn’t quite match Ronaldo as he registered a decent 125 reps.
