Sadio Mane has starred in his own film that charts his incredible rise to the very top of football.

It's titled 'Made in Senegal' and documents the Liverpool star's humble beginnings and the sacrifices he had to make to become a professional player.

A number of massive names feature in the film with testimony from the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah.

Mane himself is the narrator and looks back on his life through a mixture of archive footage, animation and documentary scenes.

As well as looking at his rise on the pitch, the film also explores more intimate details of the forward's life, including his passions away from football and his charity work.

The full documentary - produced in conjunction with Rakuten - drops on Wednesday, April 8. It will be shown free and exclusively on Rakuten TV.

Check out the trailer below:

"I wanted to show to the people that you can achieve anything in the world if you are ready to build on your dreams and put in hard work. I am made in Senegal," Mane said of the film, per The Mirror.

Teresa Lopez, European Content Director of Rakuten TV, added:

"Rakuten TV is delighted to present this new documentary, as we continue building our strategy to offer exclusive and original content for free.

"Sports are a fantastic way for people to connect together all over the world, and ‘Made in Senegal’ has such a powerful narrative, which I think audiences will love as much as we do.

"The film attracted our attention from the very first moment, telling a story of self-belief and determination to achieve your dreams, of all which embodies Rakuten’s key values."

Is there anyone more deserving of a film than Mane, perhaps the most humble superstar in Europe? We can't wait for this.
