Cristiano Ronaldo has left his luxury Madeira townhouse in favour of a quaint fishing village.
The Juventus superstar has reportedly chosen a home in the country with a big garden, so his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and their young children can enjoy more space.
His family had been staying in a stunning seven-storey apartment complex on his home island during the coronavirus lockdown.
But Ronaldo has opted to swap that for a rented home near a quiet fishing village, costing £3,500-per-week in rent, according to The Sun.
The move comes after the striker was sensationally branded a 'tramp' and ordered to leave Madeira by a local politician after photos emerged of him out with his family during the quarantine.
A post appeared on GP Rafael Macedo's Facebook page, reading:
"I want that animal who’s come from Italy to stay at home. Get me that tramp out of Madeira."
However, shortly after, Macedo claimed his account had been hacked, posting:
"My account was hacked. I would never make those low-level comments about our CR7. It’s not the first time this has happened and I have now changed my passwords.
"I ask for Ronaldo’s forgiveness. I will change passwords from now on every week. Hackers are out there so be very careful. I will be very attentive.
"I would never use offensive words like this. I apologise to everyone, but above all CR7 and his family, who I admire a lot, for what’s happened."
Portuguese paper Correio da Manha have offered more details on Ronaldo's new home.
The £3,500 a week detached five-bed home is near the fishing village of Canical in the east of Madeira.
It's said to be located 'off the beaten track' and reportedly has a games room, gym, pool and large garden. How the other half live, right?
