Easter weekend is here and many sports fans will be scratching their heads, wondering what could possibly fill the void during this unprecedented COVID- 19 lockdown.

Well, fear not, as Sky have delivered on a blockbuster fixture list that should satisfy even the most frustrated of sports junkies.

Sky Sports announced yesterday they are to broadcast a “range of documentaries, classic matches and events, podcasts and social media content with stars” across the holiday.

Included will be the launch of “The Football Show,” where Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville bring back their heated debates to our screens at home.

The programme will air on Easter Monday at 9pm and will feature topical football news, discussion and nostalgia, presented by David Jones and Kelly Cates.

‘Premier League Retro’ will also be available on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event throughout the long weekend.

Matches include the 1996 meeting between Newcastle United and Manchester United when Kevin Keegan’s Magpies thumped Sir Alex Ferguson’s champions 5-0 at St James’ Park.

If football isn’t your thing, Sky Sports will have pretty much all bases covered as they also look back at the incredible 2019 summer of cricket, alongside revisiting the 2020 Netball Nations Cup.
