Easter weekend is here and many sports fans will be scratching their heads, wondering what could possibly fill the void during this unprecedented COVID- 19 lockdown.

Well, fear not, as Sky have delivered on a blockbuster fixture list that should satisfy even the most frustrated of sports junkies.

Sky Sports announced yesterday they are to broadcast a “range of documentaries, classic matches and events, podcasts and social media content with stars” across the holiday.

Included will be the launch of “The Football Show,” where Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville bring back their heated debates to our screens at home.

The programme will air on Easter Monday at 9pm and will feature topical football news, discussion and nostalgia, presented by David Jones and Kelly Cates.

‘Premier League Retro’ will also be available on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event throughout the long weekend.

Matches include the 1996 meeting between Newcastle United and Manchester United when Kevin Keegan’s Magpies thumped Sir Alex Ferguson’s champions 5-0 at St James’ Park.

The infamous ‘Battle of the Bridge’ will round off the weekend on Monday evening too, with Chelsea’s feisty 2-2 draw against bitter rivals Tottenham being shown, which ultimately saw Leicester clinch the 2015/16 Premier League title.

If football isn’t your thing, Sky Sports will have pretty much all bases covered as they also look back at the incredible 2019 summer of cricket, alongside revisiting the 2020 Netball Nations Cup.

Additionally, there will be a documentary on the legendary Tiger Woods, as well as taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting some classic golfing events.

Formula One fans don’t despair, Sky will continue their "Vodcast,” where the likes of Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg and Martin Brundle discuss the latest news in the sport.

Likewise, the live F1 e-Sports Virtual Grand Prix will continue to be shown on Sky Sports F1.

For those missing their boxing on a Saturday, there will be no shortage of content to feast your eyes on. Sky will be showing some classic fights from the 90s, including the likes of Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank.

On Saturday, there will also be a "pound for pound" segment, while a new documentary "Usyk Bellew: A Glimpse at Greatness" is set to hit your screens.
