It is fairly apparent that former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is a largely intimidating character, even UFC President Dana White will attest to that.During what was hilarious viewing for the bystanders watching, a video emerged of Tyson and White on the same private jet.In the video, we see a jovial Tyson tap on White’s shoulder telling him to give up his seat so he could sit down.White swiftly swapped his seat to allow Tyson to sit down and enjoy his plane journey in luxury.Of course, this was a prank but made for some entertaining viewing to the public. It is no secret that ‘Iron Mike’ is a fan of the UFC, often sitting cage side for some of the promotion’s biggest events.Tyson has only stepped inside the cage once, and it wasn’t for the UFC.Tyson once got the opportunity to referee an MMA bout for the World Cage Fighting Championship. The event featured fighters from the United Kingdom, Russia, the US, Japan, Brazil and more.Tyson refereed his one and only bout inside the Manchester Evening News Arena and officiated the match-up between Spaniard Diego Gonzalez and Terry Etim.

The fight was short-lived, however, lasting just the first round after Gonzalez tapped out to Etim’s triangle choke just 59 seconds into the bout.

People often wonder how Tyson would have fared had he chosen to compete in the Octagon instead of the boxing ring.

Tyson himself has been reported to have said that if he were an 18-year old up and coming boxer in the modern era, he “probably” would have trained in MMA.

Be that as it may, Tyson didn’t do too bad for himself in the world of professional boxing, leaving a legacy that is largely unmatched and idolised by many young, aspiring fighters.
