Eden Hazard has admitted he's struggling to control his diet while in quarantine.

The footballing world has ground to a halt amid the coronavirus crisis and stars are self-isolating at home.

Many will be unable to put in the same amount of fitness work as they usually do in day-to-day training sessions, and the Real Madrid star has hinted that it's becoming an issue.

"It's complicated for me," Hazard told RTBF, per Marca.

"I'm trying not to eat a lot. I'm trying not to go into the pantry to eat a lot of buns, but it's not easy."

Just remember what happened last summer, Eden.

After securing his dream move to Real Madrid, the forward came into some criticism, with fans questioning his physique.

He reportedly arrived at the Bernabeu for pre-season seven kilograms overweight, which caused some issues for his new club.

Despite shedding much of the weight and looking sharp when it came to kickoff, Hazard's debut season hasn't exactly gone to plan.

He's missed more games than he's played for Real Madrid through injury and most recently fractured his fibula.

Hazard is currently rehabbing, but his latest recovery has taken a hit, as his personal trainer has been forced to self-isolate.

"I'm working with the physic online," the Belgian continued.

"He can't come here anymore because he fell ill and has to stay at home.

"We started 10 days ago, but he sends me videos from home. I'm working to strengthen my ankle and I'm doing what I can from home."

Between losing his physio and struggling to control his diet, Hazard seems to be struggling in lockdown.

But the Belgian has proven before he can get back to speed very quickly, so don't be surprised if he returns to rip La Liga up once football resumes.
