Fans of Netflix hit Tiger King think new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare skin is based on John Finlay

It's almost impossible to have been on the internet in the last couple of weeks and not heard of Netflix's new original docuseries, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, and now it seems you can't even escape it on Call of Duty.

There are plenty of conspiracy theories surrounding the series and its characters, but perhaps none are as odd as the new idea that a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare operator is based on one of Joe Exotic's ex-husbands, John Finlay.

If you've watched the series, you'll know that John Finlay worked alongside Joe at GW Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma where he helped to keep over 1,200 animals.

Without spoiling too much if you haven't seen it, let's just say things get a bit sticky.

Throughout the show, Finlay is interviewed while topless, showing off his tattoos. Some fans of the show now believe that this look inspired the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to design a new character.

Players who own the new Battle Pass have noticed that one of the newest skins, for an operator called Yegor, bears a striking resemblance to Tiger King's John Finlay.

As well as a buzz cut, both Finlay and Yegor have a huge amount of tattoos and both spend their time topless.

Some eagle-eyed fans have even noticed that Yegor has a tiger tattooed on his neck, which just adds more fuel to the fire of speculation.

Since the docuseries aired, Finlay has gone through quite the transformation, including him actually wearing a top, as well as a brand new set of teeth. Quite the improvement.

It's impossible to deny the similarities between Yegor and Finlay, but it's more likely than not just a case of mistaken identity, while Tiger King's on everyone's mind.
