With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic killing thousands of people around the world, many of us are struggling with life.

If you’re fortunate enough not to have lost a loved one, you may have lost your job or you’re simply just missing your loved ones during lockdown.

While some of the damage is irreversible, there are signs that life - and sport - is beginning to return to normality in some countries around the world.

In Germany, football clubs are returning to training in groups of five as they look to restart their league which has been suspended since 13 March.

That includes league leaders Bayern Munich.

And while the average person may have plenty of things to worry about right now, it seems the biggest worry and decision Bayern players have to make these days is which car to drive to training in.

Unfortunately for Kingsley Coman, though, he picked the wrong one.

Audi, sponsors of the Bavarian club, supplied all the players with a brand new car at the start of the season.

The club’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, warned players they would face a €50,000 fine if they do not arrive at the training ground in that vehicle.

So, when Coman turned up in his McLaren 570S Spider, club officials weren’t too impressed and will now fine him, according to German outlet Bild.

"I'd like to apologize to the club and Audi for not having come to training in my company car," Coman said. "The reason was a damaged wing mirror on my Audi. It still was a mistake."

That excuse is unlikely going to save him from a hefty fine.
