Two men have Tyson Fury in their sights and fans have had their say on who their money is on.

A poll was put out on GiveMeSport to test the feelers on who people’s money would be on if Fury had to go up against one of these men.

The poll was between ‘Bronze Bomber’ and former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and the current holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO title belts Anthony Joshua.

It was no great surprise to see that 15% of fans backed Wilder and a staggering 85% backed AJ.

This, of course, comes after Wilder’s devastating defeat to the ‘Gypsy King’ a couple of months previously.

It is fair to say that many fans across the world want to see a unification bout take place in what would hopefully determine the first undisputed world heavyweight champion since the days of Lennox Lewis.

British Boxing fans especially want to see the division unified, meaning all the belts would be held by a British fighter.

Fury has a height advantage over both men listed in the poll.

Fury stands at six feet, nine inches tall, whereas Joshua and Wilder stand at six-foot, six inches and six-foot, seven inches respectively.

Having already seen a Fury vs. Wilder 1 and 2, fans are pinning for the opportunity to see if Joshua really does have what it takes to defeat Fury.

It seems as though interest is waning over a trilogy fight between Fury and Wilder and would much rather watch a new matchup.

A matchup between Fury and AJ would mark a truly once in a lifetime event, with o-so much at stake.

The Great British fans believe in both AJ and the ‘Gypsy King’ so loyalties may be split heading into a potential super fight between the pair.

Many believe AJ is at the perfect time in his career to take on Fury and the GMS poll certainly suggests just that.
