When you ask WWE fans to name their dream matches, The Rock vs Roman Reigns is usually high on the list.

A colossal clash between the pair has been touted for many years - but it's never come to fruition.

The Rock is retired, of course. But never say never in WWE, especially when it comes to legends returning.

In fact, the People's Champion confirmed he's 'open' to a match with Reigns over the weekend.

"Rock vs Roman Reigns, is it possible? I think anything is possible," he said during a Q&A on Instagram Live.

"Sure, of course, I'm always open. That's the cool thing about professional wrestling, there is an adaptability to wrestling. You never say never in the world of pro wrestling.

The Rock also suggested that the conditions for his return would 'have to be right'.

"You never say never to Vince McMahon, who has been one of my mentors in the business for a very long time.

"[He's] a very, very close friend and confidant. You never say no.

"For something like that to happen, I think the venue would have to be right. The business model would have be right. But I'm very close with Roman, he's family to me, so we will see."

If made, Rock vs Reigns is a match that's guaranteed to headline WrestleMania... so, would the 'conditions' be right for next year's big event?

Considering 'WrestleMania Hollywood' is set to take place at SoFi Stadium in California, you'd think it's the perfect opportunity for a star like The Rock to return.

Actually, it almost makes TOO MUCH sense, doesn't it? But remember, never say never in WWE!

Please, Vince... just make it happen!
