Footage has resurfaced on Twitter of Mike Tyson completely demolishing his opponent without barely swinging a glove.
The video begins just over halfway through a round against Mitch Green during their marquee fight in 1986.
With Green swinging wildly at Tyson with both fists, the boxing legend seemingly laughs as he simply dodges around his opponent's punches as if he's in the matrix.
Bouncing around in front of Green, Tyson manages to push him all the way across the ring to the other corner, simply by dodging almost every single punch he throws his way.
Green barely connects with a couple of wild swings, but for the most part, completely misses Tyson as he strikes back with the occasional quick jab.
While in this clip Tyson makes Green look like a rookie, the rest of the fight is pretty well renowned, because Mitch is one of the very few opponents who were able to go the distance against Tyson in a ring.
Despite being in control for the majority of the fight, Tyson was unable to score a knockdown against Green. As can be seen at the beginning and end of the clip, Green's main tactic was to clinch whenever Tyson got close enough, to reduce the power of his insane punches.
Even though he somehow managed to stay on his feet, Green offered very little offensively, despite being ranked above Tyson at the time.
At the end of the bout, Tyson was decided as the winner through two scores of 9-1 and 8-2, a very convincing victory.
Despite Green's endurance, the clip just goes to show the insane difference in skill and control between the two fighters.
Credit where credit is due, though, not many people can say they stood toe-to-toe with Mike Tyson and never fell off their feet.
