WWE news: The 30 greatest pro wrestlers of all-time have been ranked

The greatest wrestlers of all-time have been ranked

There are so many legendary names linked with professional wrestling.

WWE stars like Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Andre the Giant and The Rock instantly spring to mind.

Then, of course, there are some that have made a name for themselves outside of America - the likes of Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada - for example.

But who can stake a claim to be called the greatest pro wrestler of all-time? Some of those above would certainly be in the running.

While it's all somewhat subjective, Collider has attempted to rank the 30 greatest professional wrestlers of all-time.

Check out their list:

30) The Ultimate Warrior
29) Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat
28) 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase

6) Shawn Michaels

Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels make the list

5) 'Macho Man' Randy Savage
4) 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair
3) The Rock
2) Hulk Hogan
1) Stone Cold Steve Austin

Stone Cold tops the list

That's one hell of a list. Stone Cold takes his place at number one, edging out Hogan and The Rock.

Collider justified their decision by stating that WWF's 'Attitude Era' would not exist without the Texas Rattlesnake.

On top of that, Austin sold more tickets and merch than nearly any other wrestler in history and his 'compelling' matches throughout the 90s help him cement that top spot.

Austin and The Rock were huge draws for WWE

It's hard to argue with any of the other rankings really with WWE legends like Rock, Cena and Undertaker all rightly taking a place in the top 10.

The Ultimate Warrier being as low as 30 might be a little contentious for some, though.
